Me neither - interesting find =D>

A product I was involved with used a chemically impregnated sheet of paper which reacted with copper to produce a visible mark: when wetted and pressed hard against the gold plated edge connectors of an unpopulated PCB, marks would be produced depending on any degree of porosity of the gold plating. I expect there are some reactants embedded in the paper of this test kit. I wonder if they could be applied to LHM ?

I found more at...

It seems to be more common in the US that people get their oil analysed to determine appropriate service intervals. With subsequent forum arguments ensuing about whether you might as well change it on mileage/time anyway, or whether changing the oil too regularly can actually be worse!

It'd be interesting to see what the results actually said, but is it worth £5 a test though?

Well, as ECP are doing a 30% code offer off their already discounted prices for oil this month, then no as I've just bought 5 Litres of semi-synth for the Ford oil-change at a bargain £12.50. :D
