When THIS 19 TGD Estate was recently advertised on C&C for only £250 which may have even sold for less ?

IMHO the seller is way-over ambitious on price and frankly wasting even the listing fees as no one in there right mind is going to take this one @ £250 'BIN', sadly a spares donor vehicle which the seller will need to break up to achieve anything near £250 !

that damage on front corner is prob a lot worse than it looks and i would suspect the inner wings to be rotten judging by the amount of vegetation present. Only the brave on this one....stood 12yrs....£250....its an ambitious starting price, honest enough seller tho.

You are all quite right! - it is an ambitious price...that's why it's up for offers.

ebay charge £10 to list it - I don't mind that, but another £20 is lost if someone clicks the 'buy-it-now' button...
..So I was after anyone who might be interested to contact me and having a good haggle !! then just let the listing end without (officially) 'selling' it.
£30 is alot to lose from a 'scrap' car listing.

Reading some of these threads has reminded me of how happy I was with it, perhaps I will put it back on the road myself ...

Jeremy - try Gumtree - no fees and you can say what you mean. ebay/paypal is a racket in terms of fees but useful!

I think it was a bit ambitious/foolish to think of renovation.

So I've decided to break this car, since I've had interest in some bits from it.

Does anyone want/need any parts from it before it goes to the crusher ?

Yes! I think the interior is the same as mine which has some damage.
Can you tell me what sort of condition its in? Looking at the front seats they don't look too bad. Mine is the red/grey herringbone pattern.
