I'll second the parts prices being cheap, not many cars you can buy front discs & pads for £25 for an axle set :) to do an oil change was costing me less than £15 inc the filter, fuel filters are usually under a fiver as well & air filters again aren't expensive if you trawl e-bay, i've got some paper one's available for £3 each, or i can sell you a K&N for £20 :) A few bits are now getting scarce, but someone on the forum may give up those bits for the right incentive ;)

Are we all stocking up on them while they are still available ? , and if so, who's garage is being taken over by the BX clubs stash of bits ?

Many happy returns  .

I confess that I tend to stockpile spares when they are cheap. They have a habit of suddenly not being available anymore and the price goes up while availability drops. Depends how long you plan to keep the cars, of course. With Messerschmitts and Goggomobil I have a lot of spares bought when they were not valued, just as the cars were not. That has turned into a very good investment.

at least if you cant find these pipes new, it is easy enough to just purchase the correct length/bore copper pipe, and make replacements up,
