MoT passed.

Post by mds141 »

I decided to extract the valver from it's near twelve month slumber today and get the MoT test sorted.

Despite such a long period of inactivity, the car started up with a few cranks of the starter and lifted itself up within thirty seconds. Filled up with 40 lts of BP's finest super unleaded and headed off to Dave Ashworth's in Blackpool.

The valver didn't miss a beat on the way there and back and I'm pleased to report it passed with no advisorys.

If felt great to be behind the wheel again.

The odometer passed the 120,000 mile mark on the way to Blackpool, so on my return home I fitted the armrest/storage box thingy and treated the old girl to a jet wash session. :-)
