preventing dirt ingress when working on hydraulics
what do people use to plug hydraulic pipes so prevent dirt ingress? I've been improvising by cutting pieces of sponge.

So I'm guessing the 5mm ones will work for the 3.5 mm pipes and 8mm would be best for the 6.5mm (is it?) bigger pipes
Also- if I want to stock up on a few seals from Citroen would it be the 3.5mm and 6.5mm ones?

If it is not too long a job ie just replacing a front brake flexy, I'll often just use masking tape or similar over the end of the hard piping. Long as you wipe off any hydraulic it will stick well enough.

i'm swapping the pressure reg and FDV = v big job - compared to what i'm used to anyway. Pipes everywhere. Suprisingly easy to work out where they should all go back tho. Need to finish off today, hope i havn't jinxed it now.
