so why does a TZD come up every time I have just brought a car !!

Going to need some welding to the door shut are though, sounds like the cooling fan isnt working either and it overheated, I would check the headgasket because of that

Paint looks good and its low mileage.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

Yes, I'd check the HG very carefully.. sitting for 10 years without a coolant change isn't a good idea!
They can also soldier on with a slightly leaking HG for many miles, I think mine did! It'll have to be done at some point though.

Bit of a stupid idea to leave the car on idle for an hour, i bet its coolant which has pissed out :(

Looks tidy enough but hard to know how much tin-worm is going on in the sills. With the rust and engine / HG sorted could be a decent motor.
