Mine has covered 120,000 miles. So over 25 years, that equates to 4,800 miles a year. I'd consider that low mileage. Not for sale though. :)

Good luck finding one, I've been chasing this dream for years.

The few that are left are like the "project" that I have been to view today, sat here deciding if the heart or head shall rule.

As Mike says, good ones are rare, most have been thrashed or used as Donors, and the nice ones are in the hands of enthusiasts.

I think the 'How Many Left' website paints a fairly unpleasant picture.

I presume those stats are combining ph 1 & ph 2 variants? Who needs a Lamborghini Aventador for exclusivity?

That doesn't include SORN though, which brings it up to around 70 cars IIRC. How many of those still exist is anyone's guess!

Mine is currently on SORN, but would pass an MOT so you can almost add one to the list.

I know of another on SORN, a phase 1.
It does run, but it has been off the road for a good few years now.
I expect the owner would sell it if approached.
Contact me if you want to get in touch with the owner. Car is near me in South Bucks.

Amazing that only about 1 in 50 still on the road after 13 years.

I had leather in a donor car, but decided against fitting it because I prefer the shape and fit of the standard seats.

I agree Mike, a lot of people forget that there is no such thing as 16v leather seats and that they are only normal seats underneath.

If I could find a 16V breaker with aircon and could get it working, I toy with the idea of retro fitting it to mine and then having the 16V seats retrimed with leather and adding heated to them as well.

Wouldn't be that worth while but would be exclusive :D
