Bearing in mind the grief the RAC have given my family the past two months (see Chat page) I don't mind if they use a gold-plated MK1, they can still crawl away and die in the gutter as far as I'm concerned. They really are a nasty little piece of work. Be told, DO NOT JOIN THEM.

Good and bad on both, the AA let me down big time, ive used the RAC twice and they were great.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

Not as bad as the AA insurance advertising campaign a few years back that featured a late 60's / early 70's Beetle convertible - when my brother went to them for a quote for his '68 Karmann Beetle Convertible they told him they don't insure cars that old. When he asked why they used a car they wouldn't insure in their advertising campaign they couldn't understand what he was getting at.

Just left the AA (the motoring version 
) They very kindly "upgraded" my membership to Silver status and wanted to charge me £138/year err no thank you. The Bx has got breakdown cover through the classic insurance anyway and the Berlingo has now been sold back to the supplying stealer. They're welcome to it. I just feel sorry for the next unsuspecting owner because it will definitely breakdown again.
