mine loves it.
You can keep up with the flow of traffic with a diesel, it's jumping out and blatting past it that you need the 16v for
I don't get many people looking at it, which suits me fine as I hate attracting attention in a car, unless it's from the odd bloke at a petrol station who actually knows what it is!
The Diesels are going to become less attractive though with the likes of Boris and his intended ultra low emission zone at £10 premium over a petrol car. You may say that London driving doesn't affect you but the councils of many other towns and cities are looking towards adopting this policy too.

I do too, they take it. Those who have never driven a diesel BX should try it be it n/a or turbo.
Driven my Hiluxes and L200s the same and by do they go so valvers dont have it all their way. Ok, faster cos their petrols with ecus n big engines but not the only BX that can be driven hard. Not the case with BX14s n 16s, they certainly aint up for it!!

What trying to escape? They are strange folk in the Fens.
The TZD is a great economic road eater, before things got heavy and computerized. It is a most useful car and newer machinery fails to offer as good a package for those who find no need to be told what to do, how to do it or drive like a loony crashing into people who happen to be in the way. The only downside is the Road Fund tax which might be avoided by use of other vehicles, but at what cost? Most BX are collectables area and can gain cheap insurance. If towns ban me, good. I do not want to go there. Its lack of spares/skilled support that will put the cars off the road unless the attractions of gadgets and fashion statements are to great to keep loyal owners.

Got the old G VOT back last night, and corrected the misfire turned out to be a coolant temp sensor.
Bodywork is awful but not why I bought it, interior a bit shabby but should clean up to go in my white ph2, engine as said running spot on now so that can go in the silver one. So all in all good car for part salvage.

Really? CTS causing a misfire?! That's a new one on me - not sure it's even possible with the way motronic is configured.
Either way, it's worth that for the spares all day long! Good work!
Shame really, as I could have got it ship shape, but as you can see the time and effort needed would be big. Then consider it was a paying job......I can see why Alex threw in the towel!
