BX Estate for sale
BX Estate for sale
It's time to part with my BX. I've had it for a year and it's been fine but I don't have time or the facilities to look after it as it should be. It's a 1986 19TRS estate that was re-furbished after 12 years of dry storage and still runs very well, as it should with only 92,000 miles.
It's good mechanically and the body and trim are original with no signs of damage repair, including still having all the glass etched with the registration (very 1980's!). There's no damage to the bodywork, only a few stone chips and minor scratches but as the paintwork is 28 years old, it looks a little tired and is lifting off some of the plastic areas on the roof.
It has the original wheel trims but on the front only. The rears flew off after I'd checked out the rear brakes, then went for a drive. I didn't even hear them go, so I've no idea where they are.
It recently went though the MOT without too much trouble, just needing some welding in the N/S wheel arch and four new tyres as the old ones were cracking with age. The only advisories were some welding, a minor oil leak and the occasional smell of fuel.
It drives as it should but would benefit from some tidying but I no longer have the time to do it.
An increasingly rare car and a great example of the BX could be yours for £750.
It is located in Ashford, Kent.

Yes it is and a good job they all made of it. It's good to drive and quite quick being the 1.9 but I'm afraid it has to go.

Re: BX Estate for sale
Very early Mk2 19TRS auto, if it was a Mk1 estate I would still have it!

Re: BX Estate for sale
The car is still for sale as well-known auction site only attracted jokers. The car is still good but three months older and
I still enjoy it but I would still like to sell it to a good home. I have always been open to negotiation and would certainly consider
offers around £ 600 for this increasingly rare model in what is basically sound condition. Maybe not the right time to offer it for
sale but then it may be a good time for you.
