J reg white TZD estate WIW?

Post by BxTZDkyle »

Looking to sell one of my estates its a white J reg
203k miles but serviced well(awaiting the service history from the seller as he kept quite an extensive history of all 3 cars in a notebook)
12months mot will be on it for mot it needed a balljoint, wipers, and accident damage on the sill repairing. I have cur the damaged area out and replaced it with a new section from another bx, smoothed the weld and applied new stonechip down both sills.

It's had new starter motor, brakes and pads and exhaust not long before it was laid up in a garage back in 2010( when it was last taxed)

Bodywork is not immaculate but its imo very good for the age and mileage general chips afbd scratches. I do have another white estate however i am willing tip replace any bits that are in better condition. Hydraulic work great rises from low within around 10 seconds and leaves no patches on the floor which is always a good sign :) door hinges and inner sills are good also as I think these are common problem areas.

Wheels would benefit majorly from a repaint but only cosmetic

I will get pictures up just wanted to get an idea pricewise as the only other estate I have seen is on eBay for £700 :/

Thanks
Kyle

I think £700 is probably a fair price to be honest. Maybe £750-£800 if you find someone who really wants one in that spec/colour etc, but it'll never be worth big money because people are usually tarts about mileage

Might be worth bunging some pics up - it may be tidier than it sounds.

It has had a new balljoint on nearside and new oil and filter for mot.

Unfortunately it has developed a creak from the offside trailing arm and has play indicating the bearings are gone. I have the repair kit to replace but not been able to get this done as of yet. If I can I will if not the kit will ofcourse be included to do.

I have done just over 700 miles the last few weeks and its been faultless upto the bearing going. Engine pulls very well, Comfy suspension works good and quick responding to adjustments and I have not had to top the fluid up at all and leave no patches.
