Jon Self has a A plate 14E in the same colour, but I dont know what state thats currently in.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

That's it Andy, the only solid blue at the time, I think although there was a dark blue with a lot of purple in it as well, but much darker. In fact if I remember right the dash is a dark blue - with all the little scalloped press switches ie the 4 accessible from the wheel later flush in the Mk2s. Good that you showed a 16 as I can remember those in that colour but never a 1.9 petrol although they may have done them.

The early red, like Kitch's 16, is a lighter red than the later Mk2 ones as well. Quite a primary sort of red which was actually a bit different to most manufacturers at the time, as was that blue at least outside France... :wink:

So today, after sitting idle in the yard for nearly two months, my precious got towed to a BX specialist in Carbury, County Kildare, Ireland.
I also recently got a set of seats in nearly new condition, fantastic checkered Leader ones (thanks to Tim Visser from Holland). Things are moving, slowly but surely
