Hi all,
Our Xsara Picasso is now for sale. Owned it just over three years, bought it on 114k miles, now on 140k miles. It's a Desire (or Desire II, can't remember which), 2.0 HDi with a HDi tuning stage 1 remap (not just a tuning box). I run a workshop with a rolling road dyno fitted, and the average output is 120bhp/210lb ft of torque. The fuel economy also improved slightly since the remap was carried out around 2 years ago (45mpg around town with ease, 55mpg on a run, again fairly easily).
MoT'd until August, fitted with Exclusive alloys and pretty much original otherwise. It's slightly tatty, but not horrific and comes with decent service history.
Cambelt due in about 3-4 years.
New LUK clutch fitted last year
New Bosch starter fitted last year
New Bosch fuel lift pump fitted 2013
Genuine AFM fitted last year.
Starts and stops with no issues. Mechanically pretty good, and no visible rust underneath. Only after £695onvo for a swifter sale. Has been a brilliant car for us (rewrote my feelings on Picassos!) and it's got miles left in it yet.
Pics to follow when I login at home.

Well we probably qualify as original now, being that the majority of people on here are more recent

Well, you predate Ken on the forum but the buyer predates you.

Re: Not BX - Xsara Picasso HDi £695
Except the buyer has left the forum, and hasn't had a BX for a rather long time.
I think Ken and I both predate this forum, and the forum before it, and the forum before that all the way back to the original Q&A forum in the early 90's (I started using that around 1994), then the AndySpares forum, French Car/BXClub forum (and the GSF Forum for a little bit in the middle).
Its certainly a lasting legacy the BXC, 10 years old this year!

Re: Not BX - Xsara Picasso HDi £695
I stumbled across this forum originally in late 2005, and was delighted to find I wasn't the only nutter who liked BX's! I had a 19TXD with leather and speedlines which I sold for £400 like a fool to a guy down south, which I think has long since died..
