sourcing pipes!

Post by nige »

So Pleiades are out of stock of 3.5mm pipes and are unlikely to restock for a number of weeks. Am on the hunt now for the metal hydraulic pipe from the front offside brake flexi that runs along the cross member to the junction splitter thing. I would have preferred to have one made up from Pleiades as these seem easier to fit.. anyone have any places i could be ringing tomorrow morning? or a part number to refine my search?

thanks again everyone

Also worth a try, is Bonapart a 2CV specialist SE of Paris. I had the same problem with 3.5mm pipe and it MUST be Cunifer or the original steel type (pref the black coated stuff) to be safe. You can order with a debit card OK, just e-mail the guy Herve, he's very helpful and has enough English to speak on the phone too. You'll need a bending tool and flange creator too btw. Yes I know it is more a lot more meters but if you do the front/to rear pipes you'll need 15+ meters anyway.

Just make sure the 'nut' part is on the pipe before you create the flange....
