Apologies for the blatant advert but if anyone is interested in a set of 6J alloys I can bring them to the rally. See: http://www.bxclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=20396

Sorry, no show. The car wins. The high pressure front to back has gone. See blog for more, if you can be bothered.

Aww, that's a shame. None of the other cars can be made ready?

Not in the time left available as the only other 'easy' one needs a clutch. Its only miles from not doing anything at all, but when? I still maintain if the stupid thing was adjustable in the true sense of the word there is meat left. BX is on the cusp of this 'non- tamper', 'we know best' engineering that infects more modern offerings. So that means a margin for their error and not getting the maximum life out of parts. In the same way sealed for life bearings are hard to lubricate, so that is a short life then. Rear axle pivots? Swine cars, as Clouseau would say.

I'll be attending, but sadly not in my BX as it hasn't come out of winter hibernation yet. I'll be going in my recently purchased C6, so it'll be nice to stretch her legs, don't worry though, she's wearing a BXC sticker.

I will be there in the BX Van with 16V conversion with quite a number of parts for sale… The Van has finally got on the road and is 95% there mechanically now but still has the bodywork to do… There's list of the parts in the BX Parts for sale and wanted section.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday…

I'm heading up in the Saxo (do I need to keep writing SaXo leading up to this? :P ) which I've even cleaned for the occasion!

Got some bits for Luke and Phil in tow, along with a couple of other tit bits I've got in the for sale section.

A lovely day and I won the Shed of the Day trophy for the BX 16V van – I'm sure the Shed of the Day award is my only chance at an award – as I am really not a polisher… But the van will get bodywork and paint very shortly.
Thanks Sandre and Paul – it was great!
