All spheres changed for new about 12 months ago, as well as pressure reg.
Kicking my self that I didn't have a doseur valve ready to change when I had engine out.
As said what is weird that after bleeding etc tick time went back to normal, need to have an experiment.
Also have noticed that the plastic 3 way leak off from rear struts is broken but not noticeably leaking

Ok, doseur changed with no difference.
Tick time still around 14 secs makes no difference is height is on high or low, only changes if brake pedal is pressed then tick time is 30+ secs.
Any ideas?
(was a Chevronics recon supplied doseur)

I have a similar issue with one of mine - I've lived with it for several years with no other problems! Changed the pump recently as the steering was getting stiff when cold and would take a while to rise - this sorted this problem but still has a short ticktime... I would expect the main accumulator unit would be the only other thing left! Some have had a result reseating the brass ball that's underneath a flap when you remove the acc. sphere...

Valid points above but what doesn't make sense is that brake pedal being pressed tick time is normal.
Thinking I might of been sold a dodgy doeser valve....

Terrible news
Unfortunately I have wrote of my best ever car in an autobahn in Germany a few weeks back, absolutely gutted. She did very well tho as was fully loaded (4 people roof box etc) with no injuries.
What is weird is that my fast tick time fixed itself after the bump as rear end stayed up for hours on back of recovery truck!
Having a break from cars (well cutting down from 4 to 2) so all my spare bx parts are in the For sale section and If anyone wants a 2.1 XM message me!

That's a huge shame but very fortunate that nobody was hurt...

Bent both front wings , couldnt open door on passnger side, obv totalled front bumper rad etc. Might be more damage underneath.
Expect if it wasn't in the debths of Germany you might attempt a repair, but no way will insurance company pay for it to be returned.
Shame as there was quite a few nice parts on it.
