Front seats swop
Re: Front seats swop
Hi
I've just tried this but the seats aren't interchangeable. However the seat bases are. If you remove the seats (5 bolts with 'star' heads each side) the bases just unclip from the seat frame. It is the bases that get saggy not the backrests so in my BX this has made all the difference and sorted the problem, so well worth doing. You could probably do this without taking out the seats but you'll probably need to take one out to see the arrangements of the 2 clips and 2 rubber bands.
Hope this helps.

Re: Front seats swop
You don't need to remove the seats to swap the bases, they just lift out. they're clipped at the front and held with two rubber bands at the back. 30sec job to remove.

Re: Front seats swop
Unless you are a big person. The angle gear seat back adjustment on the later seats is not as strong as it could be. I get through a seat in about 2 years. Eventually it will not adjust up. So refrain from forcing the seat back at the top. I also wonder how they would perform in an accident. Annoying as I find the late BX seat one of the most comfortable car seats.

Yup! Just two steel wire clips that hook around the cross bar, lift up front edge and pul out and you get to keep your lumbar support
