WANTED: Wheel trim for BX 14TE St Tropez

As per my blog post, one of my wheel trims went walkabout somewhere between Canterbury and Abbeville, so I need a replacement wheel trim for the St Tropez. Looks something like this...



Obviously, I'm not expecting to find a St Tropez one in white, so anything in grey that I can re-spray would be welcome. Might consider purchasing a full set if such a thing exists!

I thought this type couldn't come off without undoing the wheel nuts, I think I may still have an old silver one somewhere if no one else has one for you.

They can and do when the trim around the nuts gets old and tired, or possibly it wasn't located on properly.

You could get a silver one painted.

Thanks, Kevan. The trims will pull off without the wheel nuts being removed. They have flexible claws that clip on to the shoulder of the wheel nuts, but I think the plastic may have been affected when the paint job was cured. They were much easier to remove after the re-spray.

Yes, Tim, I would expect to do a respray. Funny old thing, but I did check they were all secure before the off. Life's like that. Whatever the reason, the trim's having a holiday on some verge.

Hi Des. yep found 5 so got an odd one with very slight scratches to a 5" section which might need a very fine scrape of filler before painting to make absolutely perfect but it's yours for the price of postage. Just PM me your address and I'll pop it in the post and let you know how much it cost.
