Is it possible to get classic car insurance if you have to park the car on the road? Alas I have no driveway/garage, and so far having no luck with quotes.

Yes my classic cars are insured through Footman James as being kept on the road but you do need another mainstream car…

Age 35, with 11 years NCD and an unblemished licence the cheapest I managed to get was £305 from Lloyds Bank TPFT, 8,000 miles, with my 70 yo dad as a named driver.

I pay 160 for both my bx's a t/d and gti with footman james, t's and c's apply, but found them the most helpful and reasonably priced, tho my premium hS halved since moving house from w london to lincs.

Conversely Lancaster Insurance have been a pain the posterior. Suffice to say I shan't be using them for future renewals.
