WANTED: MK2 heater control unit & dash tray

Post by mijfife »

Hi all, looking for a few bits for my recently acquired 1991 TZD.

I need the heater control unit that sits behind the facia, it's the white bit with the pcb. I thought the heater valve had stuck as the temperature control knob was just turning, turns out the valve is free but someone has broken the lug from the white bit that holds the outer cable in place.

Also looking for the black tray that sits beneath the clock, again someone has been a bit hashy and it's badly cracked.

Finally (for now  ) the light unit for the glove box is missing, anyone have one going spare?

Cheers Jim

Hi Jim.
I have a tray. And the clear lens that fits in to the glovebox, might have the heater part you are looking for, will have a look in the garage. Not good at theses computer things so if you could send me your e-mail address then I will send photo's of what I have.
Regards
John.

Thanks Hilary, I might still be needing one, John's is broken and just checking with him if it is off any use to me. I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from him.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Rutter 123 for very kindly sending me a light unit for my glovebox and refusing any sort of payment, even for the postage. Top bloke, especially as I'm a BX newbie, thanks again Cliff =D> =D> =D>
