Central locking control unit

Post by Neil »

Hi all,

I have a 1992 TGD. Does anyone have the following?:

1. Central locking control unit.
2. Digital clock.
3. Speedo cable.

Thanks in advance!

Best wishes from Neil

I've given up with the 'plip', and never used one though I have two knackered ones.... The Tramontana site tells you how to reprogram the code IF you can find a decent secondhand one. The clock I suspect will have to come off a scrapper. It may be possible to use a more modern 'plip' maybe check with Eurocarcare, give them a a call.

Chevronics can supply new speedo cables, upper and lower, and I can verify they are high quality parts giving a smooth needle action. Just fitted one which replaced a broken one piece effort, which was too tight at the fascia end. These are not cheap, but good quality parts which fit perfectly.

Thanks very much! I can see that Chevronics are worth a call.
