My Cars: citroen bx 19rd (now sold)
citroen bx 17tgd turbo repairs ongoing. (gone to the scrapyard in the sky)
citroen cx familiale awaiting possible restoration. (rotted away)
citroen bx 14 re. this ones a beauty.

hi
can anyone please tell me exactly where the fuse box is cos in haynes it just says behind the passenger side lower trim but doesnt specify exactly where.
is it behind the glove box for example ?

Pretty much where it says. Try working up from the passenger footwell, about where the top of your feet would be, you should find a box which unhinges once you turn the latch. The exact fuses, vary slightly according to spec so do not expect it to be full, unless you have all the toys. The box also contains a number of relays.
If it is wet inside, you can have one or several reasons why. Sunroof drain blocked, washer bottle area rusted through, and even a faulty windscreen bond, again depends on model ie if you don'y have a sunroof etc etc.... :wink: If it is wet, drain properly dry and then check the electrics, and if you have a sunroof, tape around the seal to see if this stops the water ingress.
