TZD Rear bumper - HELP!

Post by BackinaBX »

Hello chaps... anyone got, or know where I can find a rear bumper for a '91 TZD hatch? Triton green would be an enormous bonus... but any colour will do...

Not that I'd necessarily suggest it'll be necessary to pay for one given the past generosity of this Forum's members, but... This'd fit wouldn't it? Not the right colour though. The guy's selling a spoiler too. Thing is he says no dents etc. But I can see a slight dent in the bumper.

That is actually a 4x4 bumper. It will fit though.

I assume you are referring to the eBay entity selling off bits of a 4x4 at the moment?

Steady on chaps...

I don't go out looking to destroy BX's... it's just that the only times I have ever exchanged paint just happens to be when I'm driving a BX.

Note also that on any occasion I was not to blame. Could it be that BX are just... I don't know... magnetic? Attract other things? Could be that Citroen inadvertently built in a portable lay-line into the BX, and things just naturally like to converge with it; like trailers, transit vans and Fiats???

I had a Fiat like that. I put it down to its havingit's own gravity well. Things like shopping trollies and wheelie bins were drawn toward it. Slowly at first but gathering pace until - Impact!

Anyway I don't think anybody's having a dig at you, mate!

That`s because they all came off the same production line one after the other, closely followed by the damp string which doubled up as electrics

He`s referring to the bloke in Crewe who strips them BackinaBx, not you. TBH I don`t really know if the eBay geezer is doing that well at it anyhow, I`ve a feeling he`s more into Peugots and probably got this particular car for the engine and chanced his arm on selling some of the bits off it. At one point he was trying to sell some parts second hand for more than they cost new.
