If it's to the right man i don't think the price is that important, that it gets cared for it what matters, scrap value is next to nowt, my opinion is a it's probably worth £200-300 as is? But it's Roberts car to sell.

Are you looking to rejoin the BX ranks ken? It would be perfect for you and doesn't need much work.

I wasn't planning to, but it's worth a thought if the price was right.

Incidently, classic insurance yes! but do these things qualify for free road tax?

A BX estate is a handsome beast. Looks like a really honest example.

Dear Tim,
It was a pleasure to meet you yesterday to discuss the BX phenomenon and in particular the BX I am anxious to pass on to an enthusiast who is technically competent to restore it to running condition.

Your report on the Estate is both thorough and fair and I accept it. I am now more confident of a successful outcome, and grateful to the Forum for granting me a window to display the car.

Hopefully picking the car up Friday afternoon/evening. My 'L' reg TZD Estate with the broken sub frame will now be scrapped and the parts shared amongst the project car, the one owner car I saved from being scrapped and this one. The shell from it is free to a good home if anyone wants it. It will probably be just a shell but I will probably leave the interior in it as the other 3 cars are all good. The inner wings on it and the rear end are all good. Contact me on here or the BX Club forum on Facebook.
