Irony was after a run to clear the couple years worth deposits built up with short starts while the suspension was out of order and no actually hot running. The smoke cleared up! Then it sprung a leak.

Back on this again! I put some injector cleaner in the tank now maybe just me thinking about the snake oil but I have now filled it back up and the black soot is back. I took it for a long drive aka 300 miles and lets just say my convoy partner noted the smoke especially on the hills! Oil consumption was heavy judging by whats left on the dipstick. Had the umph just had to keep the gearing and revs just right to avoid a black cloud.
