It's on for the Sunday only. It's a lovely venue and the weather will hopefully be kind to us :) As for B&B Google accommodation in Stamford, the neighbouring town. There's probably something there.

Lots of fingers crossed that the GT will be MOT'd and ready in time! Current estimate is it'll be ready Saturday morning...

I'm out. Cocked up the AX's registration paperwork, no number plates mean no X-Rally. Bummer.

BX 16v will be back on the road this weekend, as part of a last minute change of plans, but I don't have time to drive up there. Nor have I fixed:

* The heater matrix leak
* The inop dials/gauges
* The inop cooling fans
* The loose front bumper
* The dashboard (which I drove around in pieces for a while)

And that's just the stuff that happened last year!

Kitch I take it the AX isn't registered and not that you just need a set of plates making as I am sure you can do that yourself?

If not we have a plate making machine and I can have a set of plates at your door tomorrow FOC.

That's kind Tim, no it's the registration. I've actually ordered some plates online (proper font, but don't mention that on the FB page :lol: !)

I ballsed up, didn't send it recorded or put enough postage on it. My fault, I'll live and learn. Now I need to just find the paperwork and see it through.

No big deal, I'll bring it to another one.

Weather looks quite good, cold but sunny patches. GT is ready as of this morning! Very excited, it'll be good to have a nice long drive to get used to it. Picking it up tomorrow morning. See you there!

Sadly due to a very elderly (95) friend of ours having been admitted to hospital and us being on visiting/care duties as well as having some other comittments we won't be able to attend. Shame as the BX is working, stopping and largely continent at the moment.

Hope you all have a great time!
