BX 16v P2 70k

Post by Toddman »

The green hornet is up for sale.

Bitter sweet as it is great to get another one back on the road but I could get very attached to it, such a solid motor.

Currently on the road, MOT until end Feb 2017 no advisory, 70k miles.
Excellent leather seats with front and rear head rests (Monza door cards)
Genuine towbar with electrics
Good condition front fogs

New front spheres
New fuel filter
New air filter
New oil filter
New front strut leak back hoses x2
New pump belt
New front pads
New NGK BCP7ET plugs
Engine flushed and semi synth 10W40
Rad flush and fresh antifreeze
New front and rear wiper blades

The car is well known so please pm me with any questions as other bits and pieces have also been done since I got the car last summer.

The paint work is shabby but not because of rust it is just in need of some TLC, the photos make it look better than it is so viewing is advised and welcomed.

Car will be at the X rally on Sunday 17th Burghley House.

Looking for £1650

BBG for Bora Bora Green woul dpof been fun but ironically the paint job has preserved the metalwork superbly and with a little time and knowledge it wi make a cracking motor.

I just can't keep it so fear the dreaded ebay may have to be used if no known enthisiast takes an interest

Hi Luke

Starting bid is too high mate, start it at £1 and set a reserve at what you will take and it will work better trust me.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....

I do the opposite. Start it at what you want, minimum. Reserves are just eBay's way of coining it in.

True, but people get bidding fever and think they will get a bargain when they see a low figure and hope to get it cheap,

Having sold cars online for over 10 years as a profession I start every auction for £1.

And when they see a reserve, they think "Ah bollocks, that'll be £xxxx or whatever!"

But then I'm not a proffesional
