So, who have you met so far?

Post by cavmad »

I don`t think I`ve done too bad as I`ve yet to attend a meeting but here`s who I`ve met from here in no particular order:

Vanny,
Marty,
Sleepy,
Ken,
Ian Fearn,
Vanny`s mate (who had my old TGD),
Stewart (Oily!),
and if I`ve forgotten anyone else I apologise.

Still another 193 or so to go, would like to meet up with the rest of the gang sometime so guess I`ll have to attend a meeting somewhere sometime.
The legends that are Barnsley BX, Tim, Mr B and Jonkw would be a good starting point and there`s still quite a few pretty local to me too.

Strangely enough most peole I have met are 16v owners although FCS did introduce some great people who were all very enthusiastic about the BX 8)
I won't attempt to name names as I willl forget some people but as Vanny has said a few times this is a very interactive forum with a great community.

Cheers

actually, you guys could help me out.
Vanny got me into BX's and i got my second from Billy, however, i have met bx'ers from portsmouth n s'hampton way (x2) and a whole load more near manchester airport at a meet. And some more on my way back from the south in birmingham. That was a good day, Vanny drove me v.kindly all that way south to pick up a st.tropez which made it all the way back to liverpool without breaking down, unlike vanny's! But sshh, dont say anything!
In Billy's old diesel and still going strong!
