Extinct BX's?

Post by BXcitro »

Just wondering if anyone knows of a BX model that is now extinct in the UK?

Any very close to extinction?

Surely a Leader has to be up there?

What's rarer, '83/A plates or '94/M plates?

Have a look at https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/browse/citroen/citroen_bx which will give you a rough idea.

I would imagine A plate and M plate both down to single figures, tho i have seen both on the road in the last year. MK 1's are very thin on the ground anyway there was a Leader on ebay a while back dont know if it sold.

Hi, there's defiantly a handful of Leaders out there, I sold my 89 TU one about 15 months ago and I've seen a couple since up for sale.

I have an 'N' reg tzd now, can't be many N's around either!

Im referring to Mk1 cars, they only made them for a few months before the Mk2, basically its a GT estate.

Hi folks, the 'howmanyleft' site seems to show there are 2 taxed 19TRS Auto saloons, one of which is ours. Whos is the other?

Im not totally sure how accurate the site is though, I know for Dyane's it a bit out.

Plenty of pictures of 'The N reg' here, it was my pride and joy for many years and it was a stupid moment when I got rid, cracking car.
It was actually one of 2 cars which were ordered by Caterpillar as company cars that eventually got cancelled and were sold off by the dealer late 95/early 96. I had the original bill of sale plus the copy of the newspaper advertisement showing the 2 cars for sale at the time. This one was registered at the beginning of January just slipping into 96, I have no idea whether the other one was sold before or after this one as a 95 or a 96. Hopefully these 2 important pieces of the history are still with the car as they were when I sold it.

I currently have a MK1 Estate which I hope to have back on the road as a regular user at some point.
