I'll re-instate the SO as soon as I can get to the bank, may be a few days.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I'm delighted to report that the generous contributions made by many members both on here and the FCF have swollen the forum coffers to not far off £600 :D

A large chunk of that is now tucked away in a savings account where it will accrue a small amount of interest.

This is fantastic and secures the future of the forums very positively. An excellent result :D

I am especially grateful to those members who have elected to contribute a regular amount via Standing Order. Anyone who wishes to do that please PM me for account details.

If any member is interested to see the forum accounting and how the money is spent than I'm happy to show that upon request...
Jim

Grateful if all contributors will please advise their forum name when donating as I have a load of donations in real names and I don't know at the moment who you are!!!

For those I don't recognise I will be sending emails out shortly to ask you who you are!

Many thanks :D

My annual payment by standing order sent August 29th was rejected and has been returned to me. Any ideas what has gone wrong ? It worked last year.

I presume that you are aware that this forum is hosted and managed by the FCF admin team, and has for some years shared the same bank account.

Jim has retired from his position as treasurer of this forum (and FCF). The role is now carried out by RichardW on FCF. As part of the handover, the previous bank account in Jim's name needed to be closed and another opened.

We are still very happy to accept your contributions, either by paypal via the donations page on FCF or by setting up a new direct debit (account details available from Richard).

Our apologies for not publicising the change here, it was an oversight.
