Best colour ever? London

Post by jamescarruthers »

Saw this in London. I was very lost so have no idea where! I always thought Olympic Blue was THE best colour... this might trump it.

Looks coppery - orange to me?

Nice clean chimneys, no soot has fallen out of any of them.

Sorry, the forum isn't working for me properly with the new secure stuff. I didn't realise it was just me who couldn't see my own pictures. My BlackBerry is blocking pictures even though I have agreed to the security warnings. The FCF is the same.

Wheey!

It's ok as a colour. Inoffensive, but not much more as far as I go :)

Ahh, looks more orange now it's the right way up. I have to say it has to take its place behind white, morello red, olympic blue, dark blue, triton green and dark grey in my personal order of merit.

It was (13 years ago). It was a left-hooker on Belgian plates I picked up for spares. It's long since very dead, but the wheels eventually when on to be refurbed and stuck on my 16V.

Ah, do you know the makes/model of the wheels? I bet they look amazing on your 16v. In the future at some point i'd love some retro alloys to suit my GT. The as new TZ trims on atm look very good - but I feel the GT needs something a bit more special to announce its GTness. So I will be kind of on the lookout.
