The car is in Middlesex.

Can somebody save it?

I'd take it, but no means to get it home. Could always splice a new piece of pipe in, but chances are the others will need replacing so I don't like to disturb them.

Do we know if the leak is at the front or more likely the rear?

Ken, it would be lovely to see this car saved, i'm sure a quick repair would get it home.

I can PM you his number if you're interested.

If he can hang on to it for a while, then I could take it. But right now I've no idea where half my tools are and couldn't possibly consider taking a non-runner on and as for the time it would take to get down to collect it

Ken, without meanin to appear I`m trying to teach my grandmother to suck eggs, do you think it MIGHT be the same pipe that `went` on my estate? Sleepy fixed it in no time at all, just wondered if it would be possible for you to fix it on the spot?
Failing that could one of our southern members have a quick look at it and report back? Maybe, just maybe, if it`s an easy fix someone could do it so you could run it back home?

It rather sounds like a high pressure pipe that's gone. But even if it is a return pipe, there's no way I can do anything right now.
