BX 1.9 TDX 1993 with 41,000 miles

Post by Matt815 »

Hi everyone,

I have just taken ownship of a dry stored 1993 bx 1.9 TDX that has 1 previous owner from new and only covered 43,000 miles. My plan was to get on the road and use it for couple of months but I wanted to know would it be of interest to a collector due to the low mileage ? And what would it be worth ?

Thanks

Matt

Hi All,

Apologies for the delay, it has been a busy month.

Where do I start, firstly this car is lovely and I have every bit of paperwork to validate it's life from 1992 to present this includes first registration document, MOT certificates, Service docs, V5C, Tax docs, receipt for delivery, and even a letter from Citroen adverting the new BX.

The car has done 41,500 miles from new and this can be backed by paperwork to validate the millage. In 2009 the car was put in to a garage due to the owners age and unable it drive.

The car is in good condition with no rips or marks in the seats and all of the electrics work (windows, sunroof etc) inside. The colour of the car is white and the body work is in good conditions, there are the odd marks from it being sat in the garage and a small repair on the boot next the spoiler that could do with being re-repaired but not a big job.

you will not find many BX in this condition, one owner, paperwork and millage. I personally would like to keep the car but space and life says otherwise.

P.S it is a 1992 and 1993.

Please see attached photos, the car is not from the farm but it is the only place I have any storage left.

I am open viewing and sensible offers.

Thanks

Matt

Hi mark

To get that money I would say an mot would be worth while, and then it should easily fetch it.
