... I used to own this car and regretted selling her. I want her back

This fact isn't forgotten, Ian! But while the air con can get me from a sweltering 39 degrees to a comfortable 24 degrees in a few mins, I'm keeping it... Besides it's just had a new rear ABS sensor and it'll be getting rear arm bearing(s) and, fingers crossed, a new MOT and 6 months tax next week. So it owes me a kingly sum!

Thanks Phil for making me aware of this site! I used to go on the old BX Q&A forum but that seemed to disappear and I never found this one.
Kitch, it's not a funny chip it's a FUN chip
This is the Weber Hi-Performance Starchip which according to the blurb gives 139 bhp and raises the rev limiter by 500 rpm.
But it's not all about power, it gives a lot more torque, flexibility and less 'shunting' at low revs. I normally have the family in the car so don't cane it, but when I am let out alone it can really go.
The price was £270 plus fitting.
Cheers
John J.

Right, much as I'd like to get her back I can't, given that I'm moving house and have to furnish and equip it. Exactly the reasons I didn't buy that Auto in Lincolnshire.
I am very sad as the guy is a genuine Citroen fan and has looked after it well. The car is chipped and apparently develops (according to the literature) 140bhp from the standard 125. I must say it is the swiftest GTi 8v I've driven.
I said to the chap, John, who's selling it that I'd post his contact numbers on here - as well as urging him to register with the BX Club, of course.
I hope someone on this forum buys it. The only reason I sold it was to make way for my since sold-on Previa...
