Ah, yes yours was under the unknown section on my list. I knew Richard sold a digit and GT, the GT at least going to Ireland - i'll add you to the register. Thanks!

Fair enough! BTW when I type C126 SNH into the DVLA website it comes up as not found.

Indeed! Does it still have the uK reg, or did you have to change that when it crossed the water? I don't really know anything about Irish car regulations.

Hi there, Les Goodrum replying to the post of registering my GT. The reg plate is B350 JAB. What a plate for a medical person haha. Just been out for a drive tonight. Forgotten what a comfortable and enjoyable experience they are as not been using her much, must get out and use her more than I do. Passed the mot with a few minors but the inspector said what good nick she was in which I was chuffed with after all the problems I had with the carb and starting. Different motor now, not rapid but enough to surprise the boy racers, within speed limits of course. All in all I think you can guess I am quite happy with the old girl at the moment :D

This is great stuff Tom. I'm starting a BX register for the CCC at the moment. To kick it off with nearly ALL the GTs would be amazing!

I compiled a table a couple of years ago on my computer, and I've been adding cars to it as they came up in conversation/sale etc. For once facebook has been very useful here! So has Flikr, just searching brings up a couple of pictures of GTs and people often leave nostalgic or ownership claiming comments.

As they are so few and far between, I think it's worth the effort to try and keep what is left of them going and in public view. It's a shame that even some of them on the list may have gone, like Milkyjoe's B89 XJK for example. We never did hear what hapenned to that.

If the owners don't object, I also have images of the GT's that I can post, unless of course they want to post their own :) I also have a couple listed that are very likely dead/buried etc.

Hi all,
New member, David I have a 19 GT newly bought, C221 UPC no photos in my possession as yet being stripped down making sure all good, not been used for 5 years!
So far very happy was waxoyl from new absolutely no rust, runs nicely.
Big question mine came originally with Black & Red stripe down the side not GT logo, some silly arsehole has removed stripes leaving glue and permanent marking down the sides, removed glue from one side so far.
However my thing is I can’t find black car stripe same width as original, black electrical tape is right but can’t use that.
Can get GT badges on eBay that I would do, there is permanent marking from original tape after glue removed.

Welcome! Glad you've made it over here David, we've conversed on fb - mine is the pale blue B reg GT.

Looks a lovely car that, best of luck finding the stripe! For obscure parts it's always worth checking out Leboncoin.fr which seems to be one of the main french websites for classic cars and parts, be warned though you may end up spending a bit! Another tactic would be to talk to a CAD/CAM company that could make you some up, especially if you know the dimensions etc.
