I was with my girlfriend, mate and his girlfriend in our 2cv's.
I started getting rather excited after seeing this sexy coloured BX. I kept saying i bet he's a real enthusiast and kept getting told i was the ONLY BX enthusiast and he just wanted a cheap old banger.
In order to prove them wrong i had to go and approach this man who turned out to be none other than one of our esteemed leaders!
I then proceeded to 'direct' him round Bolougne for an hour before finally finding the road out!

Hey Billy, just a quick update then for you.
She is doing just fine. Occasionally comes up with the odd problem with me to solve and keep me interested but apart from that not bad. Vanny and i spent a week on her, changed the clutch, the two front struts, the exhaust is virtually entirely new, but passed the mot first time with no yellow sheet! We were both well impressed.
The latest problem is the indicators have ceased to work. Vanny is on his way round after he has picked up something from Blackburn to drop off a spare hazard switch.
Need a couple of other bits doing. The heater matrix stuff that we took out of one of your spares still needs fitting. The rear bumper needs swopping for a complete white one as opposed to black and white. The rear spheres need changing, the reset on the speedo mileage needs sorting and the car needs a damn good cleaning.
Still to completely solve the low fuel funny running problem, but it is far better since we changed all the fluids, blew out the fuel pump cleaned out the radiator, changed the fuel filter for the 3rd time etc.
Also got to find out why occasionally, she seems to spit water out of the radiator somewhere.
O yeah and the starter isn't engaging every time, worse when hot. Got an idea on that one though.
Only a few things, but still not bad and currently doing 60+miles round trip to work everyday, and up and down the country most weekends(girlfriend lives in surrey at moment)
