Thankfully I didn't have to deal with the linoleum in the end, other half disposed of it before I arrived! Instead, I've been dealing with ex-smoker's wallpaper, which isn't quite so bad. Set up in Allington now, all is going quite well thus far. Here's the first pic of the BX in its new home.

Just barely, but we need the storage the garage offers at the moment so I can't get the car and the stuff in the same place.

Living with a teeny weeny garage, although I can shimmy out of the door. For a while I had some stuff stored which made exiting the car difficult. I see your trouble is that dammed brick post stopping you opening the door.

If it helps: I got out before the obstruction, pushed the car forward by hand and it stopped it's front wheels on bits of wood I'd fastened to the floor. I'm quite happy leaving cars with their handbrake off in garages as there's nothing worse than finding them stuck on after some hibernation.
