Citrovisie BX book

Post by deltic »

Just received my copy of BX A new generation of Citroen, anyone else? I've only had a chance to skim through it but it seems to contain an absolute wealth of pics, stats and BX information. Some may balk at the price of €44-95 but given how good Citrovisie's book on the GS/GSA was and the relatively niche interest in BXs I'd say it's well worth it. Just wish they'd translate the CX book into English now.

I was particularly drawn to the Carl Olsen's design for a BX coupe, the photo of which on page 97 showing the rear, reminded me of my own C4 coupe. I was well aware how successful the BX was in the UK (c.9.5% of all cars) but surprised that around 57% of all 2,337,106 BXs were exported.

Recommended!

Yes, this is the new English version of the BX book. Being greedy I'd like the CX one too!

It's pretty good. I'm doing a review for it in next month's Citroenian BX column.

I've got a copy, and like Kitch will be reviewing it. I must say it seems really good and probably the only book about the BX you'd ever need.

Does it include the BX-model that was made in Finland?
BX 4x4 estate, several BX Van's and some more normal estates in Finland.

It has proved that the BX Dommage rumour is just a myth, there never was a BX 1.0, but a 1.1 was available in certain countries.
