Saw this a while ago. Too much work for me.
BX Meteor. Sub 20000 miles. Very Original.

ToDo list.

Have a GnT
2. G?e?t? ?t?h?e? ?r?a?d?i?o? ?t?o? ?w?o?r?k?.? ?
Have a GnT
3. Adjust the clutch
Have a GnT
4. Clean LHM tank then a complete flush
Have a GnT
5. Wash, clay bar then ceramic coat paintwork.
Have a GnT
6. Replace rear spheres
Have a GnT
7. Replace bottom hose

You don’t have to do the work.

If you’ve genuinely got “good money” available for a 16v, (in my book that means 5-6k) then a fighting fund of a few grand for someone else to do the work, plus the £1,500 you’d probably get this for, and this might work out.

Most of the decent valvers are with owners for the longterm already.

5-6k is well within budget for one. Possible more for a well restored one

Will consider this route. When /I I find someone to do the restoration work

Sadly for the seller, it's a tale that we see so often. A project that is started but for reasons of cost or sheer volume of work, time and planning, it never gets finished.
As Rob says, if you have the cash to do the repairs it could be a good car. But, many places who do this type of work are booked up for ages so you have to be prepared for the long haul.
Prefer it to the Lamborghini, like Signor Gandini!
