Hi, and welcome!
What model of BX do you have?
Try EathanR, who is currently breaking a BX:

Check it's the correct fan for the car.

I have one too, if no success. Say £15 including UK postage.

AFAIK they are all the same, although turbodiesels at least had a housing for twin fans - the same actual fan motor though.

Re: Wanted: Radiator cooling fan
Hi folks and thanks for the replies. In answer to white exec it’s not actually a BX... It is a Middlebridge Scimitar. BX fans were a popular aftermarket Scimitar upgrade (and contemporary with the car).
The fans I have seen are of the six bladed type which I believe was the diesel fitment?

Now he tells us! OK, you're probably forgiven (I guess).
Confess I had to google Middlebridge Scimitar
The fans are not hen's teeth, and are actually easy to work with, singly or in pairs.
If working a pair, use the usual 3-relay arrangement for series-parallel (slow, fast) operation, and not dropper resistors.

Re: Wanted: Radiator cooling fan
Dear Woomera, I have two fans. You can have either or both for the price of delivery. One has 9 blades, t'other six. I don't know why I have two, recalling only deliberately saving bits off one of my 16valvers. I can email you photos if you're still in need. Please let me know. best wishes, Peter.
A BX fan since buying a 1983 1.6 in 1987 and subsequently a 1.9GTi, three 16valvers and a diesel Meteor. Their deaths have us done parted, save for one 16V sold for restoration, hopefully underway.

Re: Wanted: Radiator cooling fan
If installing two fans to work as a pair, it's important to have two identical ones, electrically and mechanically (avoids potentially unpleasant drumming/beats).
