Hello all, just a quick one would be right in thinking the citroen bx only
has two steering racks for the bx one being manual other being power assisted
for certain models.

I'm bound to be corrected, but from what I can see in the parts diagrams, no.
There are the non power and power racks, and also a separate powered rack for 4x4 models. Then RHD and LHD versions of each. So at least 6 total racks.

As far as I'm aware, there are only 4 steering racks for the BX; Manual & PAS racks, and then LHD & RHD versions.
The 4x4 just uses a standard rack; it's not unique to the 4x4.
If your car has PAS & is RHD, then just get a rack matching these characteristics, and you shouldn't go wrong.
