Hello Mr Rutter its a start i'm not sure myself i need to know for sure
garage said drop subframe he may be looking for work or money
there may be a way to feed steering rack through who knows

I'm sure it can be removed thru the side or from underneath, this may Not be the case with a 16v

As far as I know it threads through part of the way then comes out from underneath the car with the steering turned to the RH lock.
The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.

I've never dropped or removed a subframe to do one.
