Some welcome BX porn there.
The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.

Re: Found this
Complimentary write-up from an Aussie perspective.
The numbers arriving there were tiny!
Liked the choice of the green for the photos, one of my favourite BX colours.
Alongside our original 19D in Delage Red, our son had a '91 19GTi (8v) in green, with the added appeal of the green-tinted windows and (iirc) green velour upholstery. The bug-bear was the dreadful grounding for the injection and engine electrics, which took ages to nail down and modify with a good few additional and reliable ground points, and the large round multiway connector sat on top of the engine.

Another Aussie article. Lots of nice pictures and nice to see how complimentary the reviewer is about driving the car.

That lever is the late and great (and sorely missed on this forum) Alan S’s solution to the standard flimsy heater dial connection. He wired the heater tap direct to an old lawnmower throttle lever which he fixed into the drivers footwell.

Re: Found this
Well remembered Rob. Alan Smith, what an enthusiast he was. All his posting was done on a dial up internet connection so he had to paint his pictures with words. Glad his valver is still alive and well.RobC wrote: Sun Aug 22, 2021 9:55 pm That lever is the late and great (and sorely missed on this forum) Alan S’s solution to the standard flimsy heater dial connection.
