Car has been working hard. Caravan towed to to the Citroen National, the collecting a new dishwasher, and finally a run to Scotland with more furniture. Now in isolation, in Scotland, as the wife is due to have an operation.

Dunoon was archived again. Some interesting machinery belonging to the builders.

Friday, after work, I had a mad dash to the Scottish Section, Concrete Camp in Stirling. Left Derbyshire at 15:40, arrived at 20:45, where I met Jean, who had gone by train. Car sits beautifully at 80. No traffic so to speak on the way up. Saturday morning was dreich. Had a quick look around the hotel car park. Only other none A series car was this D from Glossop.

On the Saturday, braved all the police and military, protecting the COP26 and went to Glasgow Ikea. Long story, involving wardrobes. Pleasant run though. Didn’t get what we needed, but bought some Christmas decorations, and had a very nice conversation with a couple about the car.

When you sell a car you can never be sure where it will end up, seems he wont be making much money from it!

Yearly update.
Second redundancy in two years. Second time walking into a job! After two years of planning and building, we finally make the move to Scotland on Monday. BX has been plodding on. New pads and and disks were required for MOT. Rev counter and Speedo, are being sorted before the BX moves to it’s new home permanently, hopefully before Dunoon Classic Car Show. Then I have to move the Acadiane for the same show, just needs new tyres and an MOT. The BX is a great load mover and motorway hauler, and has been able to releive the work load on the main car. 7000 miles since purchase, one service, and a few other bits done. When life settles down, hopefully we can start to do some rallies and events next year.

Yearly update.
Now settled in and loving life. The BX has been off the road since September last year and under cover. Made a start on a few repairs that were needed. The main one being the rear driver’s window. It start and runs well, although it has an LHM leak. Now in search of how to repair the rear window.

That will be cream crackered then.
