Hello,
I got a new front bumper and upon mounting I realized I couldn't get it to not sag a bit, even though it was mounted properly on the plastic slides.
While looking for pictures, I found an image in which there appear to be some extra mounts on the bodywork that I don't have.
Here's the image:
Could anyone tell me what these are, and if every BX has them? I'd really like to get my bumper straight.

Re: Front Bumper Mounts
My BX has them. I found them a bit inconvenient when I had a wing off for welding. The Haynes manual makes no mention of them and the pictures don't even show the holes the bracket mounts to.

Re: Front Bumper Mounts
These are just guides to stop the bumper sagging you may find the plastic bumper blocks are not sitting in the guide holes or have broken. If you've got everything lined up and clipped in properly the bumper just slides back an inch or so and should sit tight. Tho a lot of them don't that's why you find various types of bodges pulling the bumper tight, wood screws, rivets, bits of wire, seen them all.

Re: Front Bumper Mounts
Well, I need those mounts or something in their place because I get unacceptable sagging. The main plastic mounts are good and they are holding the bumper in.
Any kind of good fix for this that doesn't involve drilling holes, screws or rivets?

Re: Front Bumper Mounts
A single 4mm hole (vertically through the horizontal metal wing and plastic bumper flanges) allows a cable tie to securely lift the bumber into its proper place. Hidden, releasable and renewable.
