Does look vaguely familiar, however some clearer and larger picturees would help. Local to me and cheap too, but I won`t be buying it.
If anyone wants it looking at just let me know.

Flipping hell, of course it`s familiar! This`ll be the one that was relisted about four times and despite getting seemingly high bids everytime it must have only dols last time out which wasn`t so long back. I`m sure it`s the same one and was from The Wirral, Ken had been to see it and it wasn`t (at the time) exactly how it was described.

EDIT: Hmm, as suspected current seller bought on 20.05.06 for £300, link below. I wonder why it`s been offered for sale again so quickly at nearly half what he/she paid for it?

Cav it's pretty much what I want but wrong part of the country

Maybe you could get the lowdown from the seller using your magnetic personality

The aircon doesn't work (But IMHO I'd rather repair one than fit it again!),
The ABS light is on Which might cost money but might not be a major issue, and the tyres are very poor. THere is an oil leak.
The shell is sound

On the face of it, this is a car that will need some work but it isn't past praying for and in the right hands could be a very cheap late Turbodiesel estate. Go in with your eyes open, and you could get a good deal.
er maybe not, found this posted 19 May ..... sounds a bit like my current estate minus the aircon! Still why buy for £300 and flog for £160?

Can try and view it still if you want Ed, I reckon it`s only about 15 miles from here.
Have a job on tomorrow morning (I think) in the truck then possibly another but providing seller is receptive I`m sure I could squeeze something in.
PM me if you like, sure we can sort something out?

Thanks Billy, I think I'll give it a miss and maybe view the TXD estate in Cheltenham this weekend if possible (hohum not td no aircon), hope the reserve isn't over the top

I am very tempted to buy it and construct a clone for Grolliffe. I suspect that with at least three owners in the last year though, it will have its share of issues. The owner is a little coy about the abs which has been reported as giving trouble and the tyres are not good. Sadly, the front wings have been resprayed in the wrong shade which in fact would match my car exactly! I may buy it, sort it out and sell it again, just to keep my hand in, as I think that this one could be saved.

No reason given then for selling 50 percent off what he paid :? , might still be a good buy for someone as there's no reserve

There will be a reserve of some sort Ed. I know this because someone has bid on it and the `buy-it-now` price is still showing. If you don`t have a reserve once the first bid goes on the `b-i-n` price disappears, so it (reserve) must be at least £50 because that`s the minimum amount you can specify.
I reckon it`s still good value for £160, stuff like tyres etc aren`t going to cost a fortune and I`m fairly sure the other jobs (with the possible exception of the air con) arent going to be too expensive. I wouldn`t even be too worried about the different shaded wings, it`s not like it`s a two year old car and an HPI check should reveal whether it`s had a seious accident anyhow.
