Hot air intake pipe

Hi. The pipe that runs from the cowling on the exhaust manifold to the hot / cold air diverter valve on my 16rs is missing.
I've seen upvc 50mm diameter pipe on ebay but think it might melt on the exhaust end.
Aluminium ducting is another option but I've found it to be quite fragile when using it in the past on ventilation.
I've never seen what would have been used originally.
Could someone advise if there is a good aftermarket solution.

Yes I agree that pvc would be no good. But you do need some ducting for warm air in the winter to prevent carb icing. I have never had to source this but I know that Masterflex in Oldham do a range of high temp flexi ducting which might be suitable.

Thanks for lead, I'll have a look.
There is a product on ebay but it's around £60 for that diameter and length which is a lot more than I was expecting to pay.
There's also a 16 petrol estate on marketplace being broken for spares, I could send a message there. Thanks

I messaged Masterflex.
Unfortunately I would need to buy a 4 metre length.
£70 + Vat delivered.
Although not as good value maybe £60 for 1 metre delivered from a site on ebay isn't so bad after all..

What about chimney flue lining its flexible stainless and hopefully available easily in short lengths as long as your diameter coincides.
Maybe £60 on eBay is the best idea if it has a bit of insulation on it.

I think I found what I need.

Right'o I fitted the pipe today.
It's a bit tight (I ordered 50mm diameter) and has a hardened steel wire coil so doesn't stretch at all.
I managed to 'screw' one end at the diverter valve on by rotating the whole pipe but manifold end I had to cut the coil wire maybe 30mm from end of the pipe and feed it out then I managed to stretch the pipe over.
Bit of a chore but it looks good now.
Going to see about utilising one of the small bits of threaded stud that stick out of the bulkhead to make a support for it.

I used this stuff below, looks pretty similar to the original dutcing that had prettty much completley disintegarted on my GT! I used 70mm and 50mm diameters which just about works for the cold air and hot air feeds. I can't remember which, but one end I had to make three small cuts to allow it to be secured onto the air divider. But I see they now do quite a few sizes between 50 and 100mm, they do paper covered and naked aluminium.
I'd recommend using the naked duct for the hot air feed! And measure twice
