A new BX in West Cumbria

Post by Alexios »

Hello everyone!

My name is Alexios and I have recently purchased this wonderful BX 1.9 TXD Estate.

My first car 25 years ago (whilst still living in my Greek homeland) was a Citroën Xsara 1.4, notoriously underpowered but absolutely loved it! Since then I always fancied a classic Citroën and finally made the big step - what a beauty she is!

She’s got 172.000 miles on the clock but runs smooth as silk. Couple of issues here and there, but nothing too bad; they will be addressed as we go along.

As I don’t really have any technical knowledge, I will be doing some studying in this forum and in the Haynes manual - any suggestions and help would be much appreciated!

And if you spot the silver dream, come and say hi!

Cheers, safe and happy travels!

Welcome to our world Alexios. You will have a steep learning curve. You might find this Hungarian site interesting for its semi technical and historical information: https://citroen.tramontana.co.hu/en/the ... ical-guide.
The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.
