Re: 16v at Anglia Auctions
Seems pretty fair, the wheels are OK, I think I would look for some speedlines if I bought it. I wonder if they were swapped as modification at some stage? It's not easy keeping things original at the age though, things can happen through the years. Good to see one out and about.

Prefer it to the Lamborghini, like Signor Gandini!

Speedlines all the way, they just look right.

£4320 including premium. I think that's about right for the overall condition. It's not a prime example but someome has got a valver they can improve a bit here and there if they wish depending on how far they want to go.

Re: 16v at Anglia Auctions
It was, I thought it was quite broad for a car of that value. Could just say 5k, it would either get there or it wouldn't but maybe the £4k entices people more. Just can't see the point of putting £6k but again, maybe it makes people feel better if it's up there but within the estimate.
In the end, I think it was about right.
Using that type of service takes a lot agro out of selling, I've not sold to many cars but on the whole, I've been lucky because what I sold has gone to the first person to see them.

Re: 16v at Anglia Auctions
I think I've sold three from posting adverts - a Commer camper many years ago, my old GTi and the Mini that replaced it. They all went to the first caller and for the advertised price - must have undervalued them
The rest I've either traded in, given away, scrapped or still own
