Bx 16 valve alloy wheels wanted.

Hi guys.
Well I have finally got hold of a ph2 16v, the one at ACA, and although I have see this car early last year in a barn find it does look like a nice canvas to get back into near mint condition.
If any of you saw it you I’ll know it’s not on original wheels and this is the first thing I need to sort out.

So my ask is if anyone out there has any for sale or knows of any place/website where I can find these wheels.
I was even going to look as far afield as France?

The car needs other little bits too but I can source these closer to home.

Any help finding these wheels would be very much appreciated guys.

Hi, I responded to your pm the day after you sent it on the 14th but had no reply.

Anyway, if you read it, you will see I have been having a clearout and currently my back up set of Speedlines is within reach, hence, I have taken a picture today. I intended to keep them for my car should I need them but I'm sure I wiill be fine . I don't know how much these sell for as I have never seen any crop up for years. The caps alone are very hard to get.

They would require a professional paint at this stage so taking that into account £800 collected from Harrogate. If you are not interested, I will put them back in storage.

Really sorry I hadn’t realised you had sent me a pm from a while back as not been on the forum.
I am going to be looking for some other bits to make this ph2 back to near mint condition.
I am interested in the alloys as it has a set of 205 1.9 gti wheels on at the minute so they need to be off and rid of.
Is there any wiggle room for these alloys for cash and would you be interested in the 205 ones in a px? Your probably not bit worth the ask.
I thought I had a phone number for you and text it but was not you .
Wonder if it’s easier to pm a number then could chat more that way.

I'm having a clear out. After a flooded area a good while back, I had to move spares to various locations for storage. I'm only just gathering things back together which is why the wheels were on hand. I had no plans to sell them whilst I own my Valver so if it's not happening, that's fine. I'm sure you will appreciate, if your not bothered about selling something, it can be unnecessarily time consuming with calls etc. and I'm really busy just now as I said in the PM about the car. Hope you get the car sorted, it looks to be a solid enough base to begin.

Hi Dave,
Yes i am interested obviously so can get mine upto the best condition i can.
It does need some interior bits like the door open screen and the coin holder.
Also maybe need a passenger rear door mould as this one is a little bent.
Need the boot lid and quarter panel badges too as these are missing.
It needs a dipstick and possibly fuel pressure regulator as its got an aftermarket fitted.
Wants spark plug cover too.
These are just what i can see upto now as not picked the car up yet.
Did you say you hopefully got a deal going on your car or am I misreading into that.
Any help on parts would be most appreciated.

I’ve had 9 of these Valvers in my time and at 55 years old think I needed one back in my life as a weekend toy. Love em.
